For those that have no idea what I'm rambling on about or think that I've gone all poetic on you the below are simply the words to the new Hercules & Love Affair single out in 2008 called BLIND featuring Anthony from Anthony & The Johnsons. Have heard it out a few times now - Danny Wang rocked it in Kings Cross and then Tim Sweeney and Tim Goldsworthy rocked it a few times on Saturday at Fabric. The "Hercules Club Mix" which is on the 12" is absolutely insane - chiming feedbacky guitars, pounding 80s house, the best Anthony performance you'll hear....to quote Mr. Soft earlier this year "I know its early, real early to be talking about singles of the year but if this isn't in my top 10 at the end of the year...." Yep, its that good - the DFA might even hit the charts with it - who'd have thought.

There is also an amazing Hercules & Love Affair Remix of Aeroplanes 3rd single too coming soon on Eskimo - entitled Whisper and featuring disco muse Kathy Diamond. Again this sounded amazing on Saturday night so watch out in March for it. I reckon 2008 might well be Hercules & Love Affairs year.

Watch out in the next couple of weeks for my roundup of the year and what you should have spent your pennies on. Everyone appears tp have started already - but the shops are still getting hit with new releases so I'm going to call it late and see what happens next week on the release front...
