I've just got a copy of the Burial Remix of Thom Yorke's 'And It Rained It All Night'. If ever there was a collaboration you'd love to hear (well of artists that are alive - otherwise it'd be Ian Curtis fronting Can or something) it'd probably be Burial twiddling the dials on production and Thom Yorke in the vocal booth. Thoms mournful vocals and Burials late night dark melancholy - wow - in fact Thom should leave Radiohead and sort it out. Based on this remix he'd a be a fool not to - streets ahead of the In Rainbows album. The best Burial Remix so far produced - its more intense than the Bloc Party and Jamie Woon remixes that came out earlier in the year - but with those trademark Burial beats - and of course that undercurrent of beauty and melancholy that sound like the nightbus home - you should do all you can to get hold of this beauty.
